Pyrotechnics
This wall hanging was made at a week-long workshop at the Augusta Heritage Center in West Virginia. The pattern for this project is Pyrotechnics (Farmer’s Fancy). Combining African as well as other batik prints, this machine pieced wall hanging takes on a rather untraditional look.
The inner circle of equilateral triangles has 40 pieces. The middle circle of triangles has 48 pieces, and the outer circle has 56 equilateral triangles. The piece is edged with prairie points.
